Homelite 30cc from vac attack 2

I bought an old Homelite vac attack 2 from home depot today as it was the only one without a new 26cc engine. Upon destructing it I found the shaft does not look like any in the posts I have scoured so far here. I was wondering if the prop adaptor from wackerengines would fit this machine.[img][/img][img][/img]

RE: Homelite 30cc from vac attack 2

Were just started doing this conversion.
Ours looks just like this but is a 33cc version.

I haven't contacted Wacker yet but the pictures on their site
looks just like this one.
It's the long shaft version.

I'm going to try to make the parts but the $38.00 for the conversion parts
seems very reasonable.

Keep us posted.

Thanks for the reply, I was just worried because this shaft has is flat about an inch and a half from the threads inward.

That's no big deal.
The prop hub on this one will be super easy.
Drill a hole in an aluminum bar, make some washers and put a nut on the end.

We need the weight so were running the mag.
That means an electric starter, but I have one already.

This is what we are putting ours on;
