Ryobi power
I have a twin ring 31cc ryobi that I am think about doing a conversion on for my sons gaint super sportster. I would like what kind of power I will get out of it. Will it be some thing like a g26 or will it be more.

RE: Ryobi power
Thanks web page looks great we also have a mvvs 1.60 gas engine that he could use but I was going to use that engine on a 1/4 scale cub that I am going to get later this year. Maybe the ryobi is a better fit for the cub.

RE: Ryobi power
you need to do some work on the ryobi, before it will equal the MVVS.
The ryobi will never idle very low. It will for a while, and then cut out suddenly, so keep idle above 1800 rpm at least. |
RE: Ryobi power
I have several Ryobi's that are running good, but one is starting to lose compression. Both of mine are twin rings. Where can I purchase repairs for my engine. Thanks MEL

RE: Ryobi power
Try
www.homelite.com I think they are the same company and they list Ryobi in there recondition tools page. They also list them in their parts directory. Go to support then download their part order page. Rich |
RE: Ryobi power
Contact Frank Bowman and buy one of his rings for the engine. It will run better than new!!
Sorry, my computer crashed and I lost his e-mail info, but either do a search here, or make a new post asking for his contact info. A lot of us here in the forum use his rings. AV8TOR |
