Ryobi front case thickness???
 

I just ordered a cheap Chinese XYZ CDI unit for my Converted Ryobi and I want to bolt the sensor to the case instead of the hose clamp method. If someone has a stripped down Ryobi case on their bench could you please measure the thickness of it so I know how deep I can drill and tap for the sensor screws.

Nice avatar,i have a set of plans for a culver cadet i was thinking about blowing up for a conversion engine plane.Nice wing area,tail,ect...ponted wing tips like the spitfire.Anyway,just checked my ryobi and when you look at the front seal and see the metal part of the housing thats the actual thickness.About 3/16ths to 1/8th inch.

Thank you for the quick response! I have a full size Culver Cadet project in the hanger. They were one of the first radio control airplanes, when they made them into target drones in WWII

At the web site for the Nation Air and Space Museum you can click on the link to their inventory and they have one the the old target drone Cadets. The radio control stuff was taken out of it and it was flown some before the museum got it. Sharp looking plane.
