I need sizes??????

Can someone here who has converted a Ryobi 31cc long shaft engine please post the sizes or dimensions of the prophub they have?
Like inside dia, outside dia, and length from the flywheel to the back of the prop.
Also, does anybody know off hand what the thread size is on the Ryobi shaft?
And if you've figured out a clever way to make an engine mount, that info would be a great help also.
Thanks DC

The prop hub i have is 1'' long from the flywheel to the back of the prop. The shaft size is 3/8''. I'm not sure on the threadsize.

Inside diameter,3/8ths,outside-1-1/4 up to 1-1/2,length,about 1 inch.Threads are 3/8thsx24.You can make your hub round and cylindrical or you make it 1 inch and then taper to 1-1/2 inches.Whatever you desire.

Thats great, just what I needed.
If I don't have access to a lathe, and have no way to cut a knurl pattern on the prop hub what are my other options?
I've heard of people taking stickyback sandpaper and cutting round washers the same shape as the hub and sticking them
on there with the grit facing forward so it grips the prop.
Would this work well enough, or is that a waste of time?
Thanks DC

It will work although not my favorite. You could also use a sawzall blade wich is thicker than a hacksaw blade and cut 2-3 slices across the face. You could also use one of those 1/8th inch cut off wheels with a mandrel, there like 3 inches round maybe and put it in a drill.I bought one from harbour freight to use to cut off nails, pipe, ect in hard to reach places. If ya use a variable speed drill you can go slow and easy. The object is just to get some kind of an indentation so the wood or plastic squeses into the perforation a little.

Or just buy one from Jag conversions, $11.00. They sell entire conversion kits for long shaft engines, $56.00
www.jagengines.com

B&B has them too, but for $35.50.
