Ryobi flying upside down

Hello all just signed up here ,, I been building a giant Spad,, have converted a Ryobi 32cc that came out of a Craftsman blower, run great ,, have built most everything and was doing ground testing making sure it drives good like a car before I try too fly it ,, and well , I grabbed it flipped it upside and it quickly cut right off,, I am assuming its some kind of float problem or something, anyone know what is going on and what I need to do to remedy this? thanks in advance

Do you have a flexible fuel fuel pick-up (clunk) in your fuel tank? That's what is used in chain saws so you can use them in any position.

Ryobi weed whackers run upside down anyway.

If you have two fuel lines from your carb, the one that is the return line has to be plugged if you do not have a fuel bulb of check valve on it.

If you just ran a straight line back to the tank and it was submerged the engine will run Ok but if the return line came out of the fuel the engine will shot off because the carb will suck air through the return line
