RCU Forums - My score of the day

Today I went to purchase a lot of used weedies I found on craigslist that was listed for $50 for the lot, it consisted of:

-4 ryobi's (3 31's and a 28)
-5 homelites (3 25's and 2 30's)
-1 mac 28
-7 poulans:2 25's 3 of those reed valve oldie's a 21 and an unknown (probably 18cc given the other I've had that was similar and was an 18)
-2 mac chainsaws, an old 10-10 auto (54cc) and a Pro 850 (85cc)

and friday I went to the local goodwill outlet and got a poulan 25 and a homie XLsaw (I think they're 25 or 30cc) for a grand total of $7, those little XL trimming saws are handy, I have two now with the 9" bars

I'll probably keep the pro chainsaw and sell the 10-10 to recoupe my money plus some,I'm going to combine parts on some and craigslist the less desirable engines (they go for $50 for a working weedie around here), keep the most desirable engines like the homie 30's, the old style 25's, a couple of the ryobi 31's and probably the poulan 25's

that and the guy wanted me to go work for him one weekend a month to fix mowers and stuff... if it wasn't a bit over 50 miles away I'd think about it harder.

the local mower shop that I went to a while agowas snobby and said the junk weedies got thrown in the trash when they got them and Ijust got bad vibes, so I haven't had the best source locally for a while, it's not like a couple years ago when they were on craigslist for free all the time, now people want $30 for one that has been ran over and is missing parts.

now I just need to get that eazy vee boat kit... I have a nice kawasaki engine lined up for when I get it

I don't know if Icould count all the dang weedie's I have now :) some are kinda buried at this point
