Ryobi Carb question
Hi jb foster
I have 4 ryobis, but only i´m running the first one for a while. several times I have to remove pieces during the tunning process to make the engine work perfect. I removed the plastic stuff that avoid to move in excess the needles, so starting from a fully closed high and low try 1 1/2 turn each one should be a good start. Hope this can help Tato |

I agree with Tatolazo, start with 1 1/2 turns open on both needles. Let the engine warm up for about 5 minutes and then readjust the low needle to give max RPM with throttle only slightly open. Then open the low needle a quarter turn more. Now increase the speed and see if it goes up smoothly, if not then open the low needle a little more. Then run it on full speed and adjust hight needle to get the max RPM. Now open the high needle 1/8 turn more. Try the engine at various speeds and fine tune once again repeating the above procedure.

ZM 200:
Quite a good class about tunning the needles. More clear, impossible. TATO |
