Webra 120 Pumped As A Pusher??
Is anyone familiar with the Webra 120 pumped engines. I would like to construct a larger pusher aircraft and use this eng. It would be perfect to spin a 14" or 16" pusher prop. I would also like to mount the tank a little ways from the eng on the CG. Does anyone think this would pose a problem. I'm thnking along the lines of a YS45 mounted in a pusher with the tank about 24-30 inches away.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Tom |

You would have to see if the crank is locked in place in the bearings...The usual model plane engines have a bearing on the crank next to the web, and another at the front under the hub...Unless the crank is restricted in some way from moving backwards into the case the prop will push the prop hub into the case at the front or the crank into the rear cover....
