Default Threadlocker use on gas engines

Hello, questions on how to use threadlocker on gas engines.

1. When I need to remove the bolt and use it again, do I clean the threadlocker before applying a new one and what I use to clean it?

2. What is the best one to use in your opinion?

Default Thread locker

Assuming that you want to be able to remove the bolts/screws without a torch, I have found that red RTV silicone caulk seems to work much better at holding muffler bolts on than Blue Locktite. I normally remove the old thread locker from the screws/bolt with a wire brush and don't bother trying to clean out the internal threads.
