I wish you luck, they haven't been made for at least 15 years and you can't adapt a newer one (servo style plug) to worked with the older ECUs. I have a 170 like yours and a friend has a 120 with the same ECU. We have the same issue with both of the displays, the button that's used to program the motor to the radio isn't working right. Sometime when you press it the unit sees a double click which causes the it to skip a step in the programing. If you have a display and are having issues with you might look into getting it fixed. The buttons and display itself are available on Amazon for next to nothing and anyone that does electronics repairs can fix it.
