HI. I am looking for a Honey bee RC helicopter.
Does anyone know a cheap place to buy one?
The cheapest I find is here http://www.raidentech.com/20nereracort.html
Is it reliable? I'm a beginning.
Thanks.

You can find a shop with good price by using www.google.com, this is what I use to get a better deal.

UGBOYZ80, Hi take a look at my photos just above I have a honey bee 2005 and a trex...I got my honey bee off of ebay $100.00 including shipping. If you are interested the helicopter really was able to fly out of the box. To get that perfect hover you must do some corrections and adjustments. The helicopter is also very durable and fun to fly...The only thing I changed was I got some better batteries...Also included is a training sticks, sim, extra main blades and tail blade...The person I orded my helicopter from on ebay was happibuy...good luck and happy flying...

I have read that some of you, like my self are braking the plastic balls on the rotaor head of the honey bee CP2. I just made the arms out of metal. Here are some pics of the plastic and metal rotor head arms side by side.

Make sure your heli batt is fully charged(dont over charge)Turn on transmitter first, then connect heli batt, but dont touch it at all untill the light stays green. If it still wont lift, you may need a new batt, and also,if your rotors are to damaged,it will impare the lifting effect they are designed to produce.Keep us updated,Good luck

your problem is probably the blades. the damage should make them lift differently causing shaking (probably minscule but harmful nontheless) that would set off the gyro and could cause some problems (the red light means the gyro is comphensating right?)
hey thinkol how's your heli going? last i knew of it it was hurting a bit?

Hi.strangly enough,my replacement arrived today, thank god.Now i can join all the fun! Had a great idea for a cooling system for the main motor(as well as realism purposes) Am going to cut out the side pods at the front of the heli, connect two straws that bend in the middle, and feed the ends into the slits in the motor.TA-DAAAAA! An air cooled engine.Wacky er? Anyway, the gyro on the last heli was actually wrong, this one seems fine,i want to add some add-ons just for show, but i dont know if you have to make them yourself? Anyway, good to hear you again.

you're going to have a hard time doing that unless... you bought a helicopter toy from walmart or wherever, then cut and fitted the body on you heli. It might be hard but I think i might just work...

try to move the throttle up slowly. also play around while on the ground (you have training gear right?) this will help you get the feel for what you're doing. as for anything more useful I really don't hve any thing to say but try to hover tail first. ok? I hope that helped a bit

Thanks for your reply.Yes i have training gear, and i admire all those who can fly these models.I cant imagine how long it takes to become a basic flyer, but the challenge to me seems to be part of the fun. Thanks for your advice.(the crashing bit did cross my mind)[X(]

Having a problem with a new Honey Bee. On the ground, when I spin-up, it rotates nose left. I cannot stop it with trim or hard right stick. Obviously afraid to lift off.
Any suggetions?
Thanks

Could be a bad tail motor. Does the tail rotor spin? My friend's motor spun but it still only spun the heli to the left, so he replaced the tail motor and it's okay now.
Or you could check the gain and proportional on the 4 in 1.
