Default Lama 4 - can not trim out pivoting

I just bought a new Lama 4 and can not get it to stop rotating hands off. Full trim left and 1/2 stick left just to hold nose straight. This is worse than flying a copter with tail rotor. Constant input required. Is this normal? If not, what can be done? I've tried the adjustments on the 4 in 1 with no luck. I thought counter-rotating rotors were supposed to all but eliminate this.

THanks.

Try playing with the proportional on the 4in1, that's what is supposed to work.

I bet your upper blades are not tracking right ... If not adjust your links till they are , it should help.

Are you centering yout trims every time you restart? And place the heli on a solid surface before and during batt plug in.

Mine started yawing terribly to the left the other day and having trouble getting enough lift to get out of ground effect, so I thought I had a motor or 4 in 1 problem. While taking the canopy off to muck around with the gain and proportional screws, I noticed one of the top blades had a crack in it running lengthwise for about 3 inches, right down the middle from about 1 inch out from the root a good ways towards the tip. It's one of the Harden tougher blades, and it's taken a beating since I installed it.

I've tried to stop drill both ends of the crack and epoxy the crack, but my guess is that I'll be replacing it before I have any more "yaw free" flight... I will try to get the blades to balance out by epoxying the leading edge of the opposite blade, as well as both leading edges of the lower pair, and then sanding them down until everything is balanced. Might as well try, as they all have a lot of dings in the leading edges.

after making adjustments to the 4n1 did you disconnect and reconnect the battery?

well first thing you could do is make a hole in the canopy, righ on the windshield
so you can access the trim pots on the 4-1 with out having to remove the canopy each time.
then if it is going left turn the proportional a bit to the right. CW.
and disconect and reconect the batt. you must do this so the 4-1 can recalibrate itself.
if it after this it goes left a bit faster, then turn it the other way.
once you hit the sweet spot, it will be nice and stable.
