NEWBI ?

OK, I know this will sound stupid but here goes. Why do they provide zip ties and sticky foam with the honey bee FP kit?
I figure its for when something breaks. Just not sure where to us it.
Made my first huge mistake. Plugged in the battery before turning on the TX. Only broke 1 part but was able to CA it back together.

The sticky tape and zip ties are extras for when you crash and need to pull the servos off. You will have tape and ties to put them back on. Gittle

RE: NEWBI ?

gittle pretty much answered the question right on the nose but they are also used to tie wrap the wires back up if you should happen to need to move them around .. the tape is used when and if you need to replace a servo or rx.. i found myself having to buy extra ties and tape because of all the rebuilds i had to do after my many crashes.. jake.

Zip tie and sticky tape are a must for all helicopters....have plenty of these in stock.

Plugged in the battery before you turned on transmitter? Lucky it was just a part and not you that got cut. Be careful, always think about you are doing and the better you get the more you should think about what you are doing. Some people ( including myself ) get caulky and forget how much blades hurt.

Always play safe.
