problem with negative pitch
 

ok i just fixed my feathering shaft. seems like my blades of alot of negative angle unless at full throttle and the left pit knob turned at 9 oclock on esky transmitter. i know i need adjustment but what and how?

"seems like" is not that great a description. suggest you get a pitch gauge so you know for sure. you'd need one for a correct set up anyway once you get instruction on how to do it.

thanks druss...i think i fixed it. just lengenth the push link between the swash and servo. i wasn't getting any lift . i keep forgetting to pick up a pitch guage at the store. Hey druss. i just got the dx6 and wondering if installing would be easy. it comes with 4 servos...are they better than the esky servos? also do i need any mounting materials for the servos or is it a straight hookup.

I'd suggest that you pick up a pitch gauge asap. They can be found for $15 and it's a tool you should use everytime you replace the blades or feathering/spindle shaft.

As for the DX6, the radio is ok but the servos aren't that great. Not much better than the stock esky ones. I'd keep them as back up but remember that if you do replace one cyclic servo you need to replace them all. When you do use them it should be a pretty straight forward replacement. Just remember the locations of which servo plugs into which port (pitch will plug into aux1), gyro gain (single wire) into gear.

Make sure you have some zip ties and servo tape as well.
