Going wrong directions

Hello.
This is probably not going to come out right. Anyway, how come the heli flys 45 degrees different than the swashplate. I give it up elevator, the swashplate tips back, but the heli goes right and back. This make any sense ?

Just from your description I would say the swashplate has not been leveled yet so it is already sitting at an angle when the helicopter has been armed and is ready for flight. If the swashplate is at an angle before you even apply throttle, the disc (rotor blades when spinning) will naturally tilt in whatever direction your swash is leaning. Adjusting the swash links from the servos to the swash will help level things out.
Tis my guess.................. To verify set the heli on a smooth level surface, unplug the motor lead or leads and turn on TX, then plug in heli. Look at the swash from the front and from the side. If not perfectly level to begin with then you need to adjust.

Your swashplate is out of phase.

How to fix it on one of those little things, I have no idea.

well since the motor is a 3 phase AC and the swashplate has 3 balls on the outer ring it stands to reason they both need to be synced.[8D]

Hello again.
Thanks to all for clarifying the problem. I think I've got it all figured out.

Funflyer....you're a maniac. lol

ArrowNaughtic.... I made some adjustments like you described and it helps when the sticks are neutral. But the side motion I get with elevator up/down wont go away. So, what needs to be done?
I don't have a nice radio to program the mixes I need and the electronics in the 4in1 cant be changed. So I need to mount the body of the heli with a plate that swivels so I can align the thrust line with the dynamics of the blades. This way I could advance or retard the timing/phase of the thing with a simple set screw. All the frizzy haired engineers could be fired and we wouldn't have to buy any more expensive radios.
