New micro coaxial hellis
1 Attachment(s)
Just curious, I know alot of us are waiting on the Micro CX to come out. But has anyone or someone you know tried one of the new mini 3 channel helicopters from Raidentech?
like the New 3 Channel Mini RAH-66 Co-Comanche Desert Style or the PE-S5 Shark Mini Indoor 3 Channel Helicopter Blue? I think it is pretty cool the way the put the prop on the end of the tail for forward and reverse flight. That is one way to think outside of the box;) But I am guessing from the price that they won't fly anywere near as good as the micro CX. |
RE: New micro coaxial hellis
If you're looking for a micro co-axial then walkera has one. Although they don't have the best electronics it's probably one of their best.

Thanks Druss, a little more info would be great.

Another prop at the end. Better foward/backward flight & more chances on blade/stabilizer strike.

ORIGINAL: Wheelnut I think it is pretty cool the way the put the prop on the end of the tail for forward and reverse flight. That is one way to think outside of the box;) I'd be interested in hearing from anyone how these fly - maybe it was just too small of a tail rotor on my mosquito. |
RE: New micro coaxial hellis
At 100$ + ........ Better fly super good right out of the box as I don't think there's any upgrades available for it ;)
Coax use the differential in the blade speed to counteract torque, hence two motors. two seperate blade systems. I saw a demo of another micro heli at our LHS a few weeks ago. Guy could actually fly it fairly well around the shop without hitting anyone or anything. He took it outside and flew it in a breeze really surprised me how well it flew. He was not the rep for the company just a customer that had one and had a considerably amount of experience with helis. I will try to get the name of it when I am in there again. BTW this wasn't directed at you Druss as I know you know the physics of a co-axe Just as general info for all |
RE: New micro coaxial hellis
interesting comments from everyone.
Druss, that is a nice looking Helli, but at that price I would rather buy the Micro CX. It will work with my radio as a bind-n-fly. and the mcx has those cool glow in the dark upgrades. I was really more or less talking about the $28.00 Helli's I posted pics of. One thing I just noticed is the Helli in the last pic I posted has two fly bars. That is interesting. I think it would provide more stable flight. Probably less ability to move around as well. But I bet it hovers great;) |

RE: New micro coaxial hellis
thanks canvanheli,
Nice looking heli. But if I'm not mistaken, that is not a coaxial heli. I bet that little bird would be a handful to fly for an unexperienced pilot like me. |
RE: New micro coaxial hellis
For that size they don't look like they would do much damage in the house. I was in a local toystore and they had some Microage that look about that size. Have you heard of them?
