spring loaded skids

i saw some spring loaded skids about a month ago, and cant remember where i saw them. they were for 450 class helicopters, and had springs in the middle of the cross braces for 'smoother' landing..my question is 1, are they worth it, and 2, where can i find them?

Ok here is the link to the Spring Loaded Landing Gear

http://xgearheli.com/gallery1.htm

$34 plus ship[ping from Australia, that is for Trex450 gear, they are made for 450 electric through 90 size gas helis.
Seems a little much for a smaller heli like the Trex 450 or Belt CP and similar. Just buy Super Skids, cheaper, less complicated, lighter, very durable and have a spring like action with a heavy landing.

I asked about this landing gear on another forum and come to find out it is very heavy gear, it weighs 94 grams more then the stock landing gear (that's a lot of weight for a 450 heli).

Id get the hi profile Gorilla gear. My neighbor has them and you can literally flatten them to the ground and they spring right back.
