Kentucky Fall Classic 2015
Come join us in Lexington KY for the 11 annual Kentucky Fall Classic, September 17 - 19, 2015. This is a giant scale event with a cause. We give a portion of the proceeds to a local charity. This year we have chosen The Cardinal Hill Foundation and The Kids Cancer Alliance. Both of these are very worthy organizations. We have been giving back to our community with the help of the attendees of the event for the last 10 years. This event has given in excess of $12000.00 to Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital over the years. We request a donation for landing fee. With the exception of camping hookups and the pilots Friday night dinner everything is by donation. Check out the flyer for additional details.

It about 3 weeks away. We are expecting a large turnout this year. We hope you can make it. We have a great place to fly and southern hospitality you won't believe. Check out these images from last year.

The menu for Friday isn't solid at this time but I would guess that we will be having Terry's famous Pork Loin and Chicken. Probably Baked Potatoes, baked beans rolls and maybe a tossed salad. This could change but whatever Terry decide on you can could on it being good.

Should be a good one this year. I heard several folks at Dayton say they were coming. Got a Futaba Radio to give away to some lucky winner. Should have some other goodies as well. I heard we had ten cases of L8-1 coming.

It's n the books. The Fall Classic was just about perfect with only a little wind on Saturday. Pilots started arriving on Monday and by the end of the day on Saturday we had 50 pilots and tons of fabulous planes. We even had a 60%cub. We raised a substantial amount of money for our two charities (Easter Seals Cardinal Hill and the Kids Cancer Alliance). The Friday night dinner was great and well received by those that participated. Our camper hookups are always in demand and were fully utilized this year. The Executive director for The Kids Cancer Alliance spoke to the public on Saturday. We also had a young cancer survivor drive his glow powered race car and tell his story about The Kids Cancer Alliance.
