I'm going. Bringing nothing but food and a pocket full of cash. I'm looking for a ton of things but this year I may try and pick up a few glow engines (Fox being my favorite flavor). I will try not to buy any kits but if a Midwest Super Stinker shows up I might grab it.

Can I get more information on the Connie? I may be bringing nothing to sell but always looking to pick up something new.

We may also be bringing a Fei Bao F5 120 size. Looking to possibly trade for another jet airframe or sell outright. Plane will be sold/traded without turbine.

With only 2 1/2 weeks to go and a whopping 5 responses I'm wondering if we're the only ones who are going to be there. I hope we get more interest.

I was thinking the same thing. In years past there were numerous Perry related posts but not so this year. I have seen several items in the classifieds that the seller says can be delivered at the Perry swap meet.
I use the show to stock up on all the little items needed when building new models. Will be picking up an order from Micro-Fasteners, looking for some 18x6 props, 1/5th scale pilots, any Super Coverite that might show up, and a built ready to fly Don Smith B-17 for under 50 bucks.

I am planning on bringing an extra suitcase of money to take advantage of all the getting out of the hobby rather than register with the FAA deals

Brace yourself when you get there. 3 buildings full plus inbetween them there is a lot of stuff for sale too. Everytime you get near a window or door in any building take a peek outside. I saw a 1/2 scale sukhoi parked outside one year.

I saw hundreds and hundreds of glow engines last year. Got a huge Moki with a little dirt on it for $30.

Any body heading to Perry with a Tru Turn Type A prop hub for a DLE 30cc engine?

Still can't believe this is the only Perry post active and it has so little activity.

One week to go!!!!

A good contingent from the Wiregrass Radio Control Club will be there. Lots of planes, radios, engines and stuff to sell. Weather forecast is looking decent too.

Travel safe,
Pete

I am leaving in the morning with an empty trailer and a full wallet. Got a list of a dozen or so planes I would be interested in buying and a list of supplies needed. We'll see what treasures I find.

All in all a good Perry event. Sold much of what I brought and picked up many items on my "Perry List" to finish several projects.

Saw several old friends and got to catch up. Good dinner and drinks with friends what more can you ask for.

Hope to be there in 2017

I picked up several brand new engines and a few items I had on my grocery list. Prices were all over the place as usual but I got lucky with a few deals. I didn't see the demonstrations as in past years but didn't really go out of my way to find them. Were the free flight planes in the 4th building? Also didn't see a control line demo.

It seemed like the professional vendors weren't as numerous and a few regular sellers were missing too. However; all in all it was a great event. I'll be there next year.
