Shelby's Giant Air Rally
Hey! Everyone be sure to check out the Shelby Ohio Air Rally! It's listed in the RCU event calendar. It will be held in June on Friday the 17th till Sunday the 19th. It's a New Era for Shelby OH. www.techten.com/shelby you can email [email protected] for registration and more info.

I was under the impression this event was not going to be held anymore. ...loks like that's not the case. I'm glad to see there will be the wardird rally, too.

Hi guys,
We hope anyone that wants to fly or just have a good time will come join us at Shelby this year. We are looking for pilots that would like to participate in the events. We need AMA certified instructors that would like to pass their knowledge on to the younger generation. A lot of changes have been instituted this year as you can see by the flier. Dick Sheppard has agreed to work as our consultant to help make the new era of the Shelby event as successful as the last twenty-one years. There will be a LOT of new War-birds this year too. from WW1, WW2 and VNam.
We are receptive to any suggestions from pilots and anyone interested in helping to make it a really fun event. All the manufacturers I have contacted so far have all agreed to send us promotional consideration once they heard of the new ideas and changes for this year. This event's mission is to promote the R/C aircraft hobby to anyone that has the slightest interest in R/C.

When looking under RC Events, I found the Shelby show!.... I was very excited to see that other sizes of planes will be allowed!.... Should yield a larger number of pilots.

Is anybody taking pictures that they can post online of Fridays events. I would like to see what type of planes are there. I plan on coming down on Saturday. I have several planes to bring down, but I don't want to bring my big planes if everyone is flying 60size. How many warbirds are there?
By the way, how's the weather looking for Saturday? Which side of the runway are we flying on?
