Alot of guys here in the Twin Cities area are wondering when "Da Big One" swap meet held at the Dupage County fairgrounds is going on. Has anyone heard if this has been called off? Or has it been postponed till next month?
We are looking forward to a winter road trip...

Don't have any "official" word on this but...

Da Big One was normally held the weekend immediately after Thanksgiving, with signs, posters and handouts available in LHS long before event...

No such advertisement this year....no event happened/scheduled during that weekend..

I was told last year's event was very slow, perhaps that had something to do with no event this year (along with this year's slow economy)..

Just didn't want you thinking no one down hear was paying attention .....

I was bum'n out myself until my last issue of AMA mag. The only reason I joined was to get the mag for the info on all the swap meets and events. "DA BIG ONE" is Saturday Feb. 1 @ the Dupage County fair grounds. SEE YA THERE !

I'm not sure if this is the "da big one" ,but there is a show by Tri-village RC'ers thats gonna be @ Dupage County fair grounds in Wheaton IL on the first of February. from ten to three. I was @ the Milwaukee show today and picked up the flyer.

The guy who ran the BIG ONE lost a BOATLOAD last year and thats the reason that it was cancelled. Come to the Tri-village swap at the fairgrounds and spend all your money on my crapolla!
