RE: WINGS Warbird Invitational, West Texas
I'm planning on being there!! I've got the Corsair that I reviewed for RC Report Magazine. It's been refitted with a YS 140. Should move that 90 size plane with a little more authority. I'm also bringing a CMP Hellcat that's been finished in the Minzi III scheme of the Confederate Airforce. The review for it is pending, also with Rc Report. I have a post-war P-51 done in a really nice patriotic scheme, but I think I'll leave it at home.

Will it is a Seagull Models Seafury 90/109 size, I have a ASP 108 in it. The plane flies really good and fast (except when you run out of fuel) []. It has a 66 inch ws with retracts and flaps. I will have it there at the fly-in.

A few details on the event next weekend:
1) We will be having a "Best of Show" award for all pilots to vote their favorite airplane of the event. NO HANGER QUEENS! You have to fly it to qualify.
2) We will have a nice raffle package for some lucky winner. Open to pilots and spectators!
3) We plan on having a pilots/family member dinner at a restaurant in Lubbock Saturday evening. Location still undecided. Come if you want or not. No program or speaker, just a good time to sit down, have a few drinks and swap a few lies with your new or old warbird flying buddies. Dinner is "dutch treat" so you pay your own way.
T-shirts are on the way to me as I write this. If you haven't spoken up about reserving a great looking T-shirt souvenier for the event, e-mail or PM me. They are limited!
Hope you guys have a great week!

For those of you who might be interested in buying a Top Flite B-25 ARF, I will have my kit with me Saturday morning for inspection. And if you bring along enough $$$, you can take it home with you. I'm holding off posting this on RCU until after this event takes place. Its just the arf. no landing gear or engines included.
