New Field Openning SOON(Field of Dreams)
 

Just to let everyone know that we are building a new field here in Tonopah. It will be at least 1000x40. Would like to host a jet fly-in as well as Fun Fly's. Any suggestions would be great. Tonopah is located half way between Reno and Las Vegas. Lots of open space. We even have a McDonald's :D . Hope to have completed by this summer.

What is the elevation? Is it located east toward the airport?

Hi RENO,

The field will be located about 1 mile north of town at the old CAP airfield. It has 3 runways that are dirt and in rough shape. The property is coming from the BLM under their recreation and public use program. Everything is pretty much a go, just waiting to get all the t crossed and i's dotted. Should be ready by late spring or early summer.
