Vintage R/C Society Winter Wing Ding
 

The Vintage Radio Control Society invites you to the first annual Winter Wing Ding to be held Saturday February 1st at the Quality Inn, Shamokin Dam, PA a few miles north of Selinsgrove. We will be hosting a swap meet, displays and story telling for vintage airplanes, radios and engines you may have gathering dust. A banquet will also be held at the Front Street Station, Northumberland, PA at 7 PM.

The VR/CS, a special interest group of the AMA, commemorates the early days of radio control flight. Any model airplane that employed radio control and was kitted, published or flown (attested to by the builder) prior to January 1, 1970 is eligible under VR/CS rules. There are three classifications: Pioneer, prior to Jan. 1, 1950; Vintage, prior to Jan. 1, 1966 and Nostalgia, prior to Jan. 1, 1970.
