I would go for a Coroplast Delta plane. You don't really need a throttle. You can use a fixed fuel pickup or a servo operated fuel cutoff device, if you really want to be able to kill the engine for some reason.
Around 20 to a 24 inch wingspan should do the trick. look for a coroplast election campaign sign to scarf up and you are in business.
You only need elevons so that is two servos with mixing for elevons.

I have a PAW .19 on a Hal DeBolt Livewire Champion. Perfect match.

G'day. I used to fly a Sig Kadet Seniorita with a PAW 15 RC engine. It was great but a little more like your 19 would have been good in windy conditions. A friend talked me out of it and so now I am considering getting another kit and building it for the engine (or perhaps making it electric.).

To keep it lighter, and to avoid the problem of covering lifting round the front of the plane, I simply doped the front section then painted it with several coats of clear lacquer. The rest was covered in film.

Enjoy your PAW.

Hi mate,
Please define what a 'cub' is and you may get an answer.

Thanks.

The only "cub" I know off is the J-3 Piper cub which I think came out in the late 30s, high wing 2 seats one behind other . Power opposed 4 lycoming 65hp; As kid got about 15 or 20 hours in one. One day flying in a 20 mph headwind airspeed 65mph groundspeed 45mph cars were passing us on the hiway below martin

I WAS A BAD BOY flew it under the Goethels bridge linking New Jersey with Staten Island a borough of NYC, the flight instructor was not a happy camper

now back to this guys question I Have a Nitroplanes j-3 cub 49.6 inch span MVVS 15 diesel in it they list 15-25 glow engine as suitable power the 19PAW should be fine with RC CARB

AMB, the OP id in the UK. So even if Nitroplanes had any instock, it wouldn't do him any good. He needs a UK source.

The only thing I can think of, is maybe there is still time to make the Middle Wallop Vintage Swap meet and check things out.

That is the main problem i come across it is hard to find specific things in the UK i find nice modes all the time they are just never what i am looking for at the time that is why i build from plans a lot and yes that nitroplanes is pretty nice.
