Default RE: OS 1.08 conversion?

Of all the engines that we have dieselized over the past 28 years my favorite is the OS 1.08 FSR which is silky smooth. The 1.08 is an expanded version of the original OS 90 FSR which simply didn't have it as a glow engine. The OS 1.08 is so good that OS has had it in continuos produce for over 20 years. This is an engine that can turn an 18X6 at over 7000Rpm and it doesn't care if you stick a 18x10 on it. There was a review in Model Airplane News years many years ago were an overweight Laner Stinger 120 that weighed 15lbs was flown on an OS 1.08 Diesel with an 18X8 at 6500Rpm and a 15X11 at 7800Rpm. It was beautiful on the big prop and a rocket ship on the smaller prop. They flew two 15 minute flights on one 16oz. tank.
