Irvine 53 DDD Conversion
After several years of searching for a UK made Irvine 53, the stars finally alligned I got the engine and the last head from Davis Diesel.
I converted the engine and ran it earlier today:
Zinger 15 - 6 wood prop.
7000 RPM wide open.
2000 RPM idle.
Extremely powerful engine!

It's the best .50 sized Diesel conversion, pictured it's turning a Graupner 12x7 at 10,120, yep it needs a larger prop. The closest was a Webra .50 Dykes ringed conversion at 9,950 with the same prop.
