Default Fox .40

Hey guys,

The weather finally broke so I got a chance to try my fox .40 diesel conversion and boy is it sweet! This thing turns a 12 " prop with authority and idles right down. My tach batteries are dead ,so I don't have any reading, but from what I can tell it is a real powerhouse. Much lighter than most .40's too. I keep ya posted. Here's a pic. I need a new mount as you can see. The squirrels apparently like the taste of castor!

Thanks,

Yeah, I made it! I dieselize just about everything I get my hands on. I try to keep somewhat to factory looks so as not to spoil the appearance and this one turned out well.

Max,

What kind of numbers do you get? Is your Fox .40 an ABC or an iron piston?

It's an iron piston. I still haven't fixed my tach yet. This thing called "my career" is really getting in the way of my life this month!
