Glen, an other thought, It is most likely the manufacturers look at these sites to watch trends, Enya may want to release this with the "Big Bang" , that is with a big a bang as diesel sales go, it is a niche market, so to make it a commerical sucess it has to right the first time. With the conversions already done by some of the guys on the OS 4 strks to gear this up to a production status with CNC,
It would not be a big deal for OS to modify their 4 strks with a few parts, jug modifications, new heads, and release a diesel also, and quite sure they have deeper pockets then Enya just look at their ads In closing it shows Enya is thinking out of the box with the 40ZX
and at 129GBPs, thats a expensive 40 2 strk martin

Martin, I hope model engine manufacturers do keep an eye on a site like this as you say. On another thread, Peter B down here most certainly does. While reading that thread, I had hopes of Peter expanding. If he did I most certainly would support him. I now mainly concentrate on diesels from 25's upwards. Like big models, easier to see with my tired eyes and slower reaction. Have a lot of respect for his dad Gordon and his products in the past. Still have heaps of his diesels and glo's, all oiled up, in an oily rag, in a sealed container. And they all still run. To get me to part with just one? No way, which of my arms would you rather have? Look what JE did to come up with their 56 glo. Maybe someone could do the same and do as you suggested== convert to diesel by replacing parts. There's certainly some cluey people out there, and while I'm at it, also on this site from all the posts I read. Glen

Glen, Im with you not parting with any engines think I have sold 2 in the last 5 years and the were sort of "begged" out of me an MPjet o61 diesel and HP 20 (austrian made) 4 stk MISTAKE, Do to family health issues (not mine) my flying has been very limited this year,
My "tranquilizer" is benching one of my diesels at least once a week messing with prop combos. Since no fuel problems here I can waste some doing this. I hope I can use the information obtained in the air when I get a chance, martin
