Default a quicker irvine 36

while searching for some stuff a found this pipe so far it will fit the irvine 25,39 MRK 111 red ones and my older irvine 36 with AJs head just for kicks ran a zinger 10x5 davis ABC fuel and turned about 10200 on the stock irvine muffler stuck this one on and it did
11400. The engine was hotter running this muffler the 39 in a 3d magic still on glow no diesel head yet Payl at JE thinks the 39 will run
to hot with this since it is a 25 size and indeed the 36 runs hotter with it martin

Martin ,
This shows the engine/fuel mix isnt quite right, maybe it needs higher amyl nitrate levels, or more ether?
As diesels tolerate more backpressure without much performance loss, the higher RPMs would be due to the higher heat giveing better burn of the fuel.
Me ied go back to the stock muffler and try increaseing the ether content, then try more nitrate. The fuel ecconomy should improve with more efficient burn too.
Stewart
Also could be the carby is too big and not efficiently atomiseing the fuel ????
