Davies Charlton Super Merlin
Can anone help me out with the mounting screw size for this engine. They are something in between M2 and M2.5, presumably one of those funny English BA sizes. About 2.3mm would be my best guess.

RE: Davies Charlton Super Merlin
The Merlins (and DC Darts and DC Bantams and DC Wasps) are sized for 8BA mounting screws. These are still readily available by mail order from the UK-and quite likely in Australia as well. BA threads were and still are used extensively in the aviation and instrumentation areas. In any case-what threads and screw sizes would you expect in a British engine designed in the 50's?
