J'EN .54 diesel
Here's conversion done of a Chinese motor by Just Engine UK.
The venturi has been further restricted to 1/16 ID. The manifold was plumbed to the wheel and the plane is extremely clean. The project was the restoration of a silked Anderson built in 1990. Its covering was badly rotted and the balsa is brittle. Lots of Thermalspan patches and a single coat of Klass Kote. On 20cc, it runs 12mins at about 3,900rpm. It gets really small! |

I love it! But isn't that prop made for electrics? A wood prop would look especially nice.
Congrats on the conversion; nice airplane too! Jim |
We tried several types. It was the only prop we had that size. Many will use electric props on slow turning diesels.

Video please.

I haven't got one since I was flying it. There won't be one soon as it's 18F and blowing like crazy.
