Caster Oil is bad for your engine or not

The is issue about castor oil is.

1. Does it burn and leave a carbon deposit like it did in the Motor Car Engine?
If it does, it will shorten the life of the engine. And it should not be used.

Aim, Reguarding your comments /concerns on castor oil,

read http://modelenginenews.org/faq/index.html#qa5

Further to this , my research into oils with reguard to low /no ether fuels revealed that in general vegitable oils are far superior lubricants than either mineral or synthetic oils- some facts in that site. The varnish formation you refer to is not harmfull and does not cause wear, but in fact saves the engine from such. Note varnish formation in castor oil is only when the oil is subjected to extrems of heat and/or pressure, under normal opperation the formation is at a low level and the natural cleaning action of the oil will flush it away, note these references are with reguard to 2 st and 4st model engines , 4st full sized engines with the oil in a sump demand different characteristics of the oil , it must resist oxidation and polimeriseation , or the oil will soon become a solid in the sump.
Also note there are many high performance competion 4st oils that are synthetic castor blends, but these oils are meant for single day use. Why use castor ?? simply , it provides better protection under extreme conditions.

My comment is Caster olil is also prohibit in using in Cars and Truck diesel engine. They say it leave deposit.
But model engine is different to those 4 stroke diesel or not I am still doubt about that.

May be people don't care since they use the engine only 150+ hours and not 1000+ so it does not matter for castor oil issue.

As I am a new student in this area so I just try to find facts behind this, since in another industry it is the opposite.
I would like to hear more comment on this part though.

I will follow DDD and other GURU instructions for the time being about using castor oil.
And I don't suggest anyone else do different though.
I just ASK the question since my knowledge from other part is different.

2. Biodiesel is good lubricant. And for that matter the new low low sulfer Diesel for cars deliberately support B5 Diesel (biodiesel 5 % and 95 % Petrolium Diesel). Since the removal process of the sulfer remove the lubricant from the Petrolium Diesel, so they have to add new lubricant, but with many new regulations in US, Urope and including Thailand, require Biodiesel mixed in the low sulfer diesel for environmental and alternative fuel issues but it serve low low sulfer diesel too. So they don't have to add lubricant as much or at all as some article said.

I would like to see Bilodiesel replace kerosine propotion.

Start reading here. The next 11 pages regarding lubrication and biodesel will be helpful.

Please don't start so many new topics. It gets very hard to track and answer several different posts about the same topic.

AIM..
Wrong, it is your fantasy in your head...

We can not use castor oil in car engine/truck engine cause the oil will be gummed and make difficult to start up later.. The Castor oil (to example Shell Advantix) are still used in racing motorcycle who has engine running above 15000 rpm. After use the engine must be dismantled and cleaned free for castor oil before stored in garage in long time. I had course about Shell oil products

I am car mechanic.
