Converting a 70 cc glow to diesel

Anyone know if a King Competition 70 cc glow engine can be converted to diesel??

This is a large glow engine mfg in Germany.

I sent the folks at davis Diesel an email but never got a response.

Thanks,

GB

If you go on the Davis site he has a listing of all the engines he makes heads for. I do not believe that is one of them . He was out for a few days so give some time to answer he does reply to all e mails martin

I tried searching for this engine on the internet and turned up nothing. I do know that 70cc is a popular displacement for small motorbikes and ATVs. Is the King Competition engine a conversion of a motorcycle engine for model aircraft use? Most small bike, ATV, and kart engines use either piston induction or case induction so a Davis style head could probably be made for this engine.

70 cc = 4.3 ci, which is still smaller than the early 50s McCullough chainsaw and brushcutter I have in the garage. And I'd never dream of flying that beast!

Why would anyone build a 70cc glow engine when gasoline is the best option?

I wondered about that as well... but bio-ethanol is subsidized in the EU so might be a market for allegedly "green" model aircraft engines.
