interesting engine

I was just looking at "stuff" on ebay and found this. Diesel or glow all in one without having to change the head. I thought the concept was interesting, I wonder how well it worked.

There was an actual production engine like this by another Eastern European company in the 60's or 70's. The name escapes me rite now. They have been on Ebay too.
