Welcome
I'd like to welcome Chad and the gang from Sin City Jets who will be answering your questions regarding the EvoJet Booster line.
|
RE: Welcome
Thanks for the intro Nathan.
We will be supporting and answering questions for the evoJet Booster line of turbines. We will also do our best to help support the Graupner G-Booster engines, however we are not Graupner reps, and the G-Booster line are an older generation of the evoJet engines. InboundLZ will be the main technical rep for the engines, and he can be reached here in the engine support forum, or on the main Jet forum page. I appreciate you taking a look at us. If you have any questions, please let us know. You can also find out more information about the evoJet Booster engines at www.sincityjets.com/store-turbines.htm. Chad |

Thanks for comming back to me its appreciated. Mike |
RE: Welcome
What's the difference between the Graupner G-Booster and Evojet Booster?
Is it the same engine made by a different company, or just marketed by a different company? Is Turbo Didi still involved with the new engines? |
RE: Welcome
G-boosters were evoJet engines marketed by Graupner (and they were also much more expensive). Graupner has recently run in to some financial issues and was unable to fulfill their obligation. Since Graupner was not able to buy enough engines, evoJet began selling direct at the end of last year.
The evoJet engines are the newest generation and have improvements over the G-Booster engines. Turbo Didi is a part owner of evoJet and obviously is involved. Let us know if you have any other questions. Chad |
RE: Welcome
Chad,
Many thanks for that. I thought so but had heard confusing gossip. Is Evojet the same company as Hammer Engines GmBH, Ottensooserstrasse 50 c 91239 Henfenfeld Germany ???? |
RE: Welcome
Hammer is where Didi is located. EvoJet is co-located with Arno, who does all of the electronics for the engine. They run it out of the Orbit-Electronics building.
Basically, the engines are made by Didi at Hammer and sent to Arno at evoJet / Orbit. Arno and Didi are partners. Chad |
RE: Welcome
Chad,
Thanks for satisfying my curiosity. I met Didi at Florida Jets and wondered what had happened since. |
RE: Welcome
No problem. Let me know if we can help you with anything else.
