Default alluminum suspention

I have a 1/10 infinity truck, if i bought alluminum shocks for it, would that give it better suspention or are they just lighter and more durable than the plastic.

thanks

Default RE: alluminum suspention

They are more durable than the plastics. Are you trying to do something specific with the truck? If you want better dampening you might want to put some 40wait in them. Just make sure its synthetic oil. Also, redcat uses a progresive type spring, you could go to a normal spring as well. I think the traxxas springs fit, youll want to by some preloads in addition. You can then adjust your suspension to your liking.
