I'm impressed with all the RC activity back there in the south east.
This area has been in a funk the past few years with some fields closed down and a weakened local economy.
It'll be interesting to see if the power of advertising has a positive effect on Vic's speed rally.
Figure that the message got into 140,000 mail boxes just like that, it's got to stir up some interest

CP, I'm tryin everything I know to get the word out. Last year was kinda make or break for me personally and it was a resounding success from all who came and flew. Most of the guys asked if I could do it more than once a year but I thought keep em asking for more. This year I am following the AMA ideas for advertising an event. My district VP really did me right with the column in MA, in fact if you look back over the last year I've been either named or pictured in that column at least three times.
I'm trying to get something special done in time for this year's event.
Just bring it!!

What a great day it must be for everyone to see those 211 mph planes and also get a few cracks at a radar gun..!
No real stress, just your plane VS the gun. It gives you a chance to go out there a burn some fuel for a good charitable cause, too.

I understand the jitters, but do your best at the pilot's meeting to loosen everyone up.

Ihave my sundowner dialed in and screaming and a little something else Ive been working with as well that should be interesting.
