Demon Shipping
Was wondering if someone knows approximately how long shipping takes for the Screamin Demon. I've been waiting over 2 weeks. My emails have gone unanswered.
Thanks,
Rick

RE: Demon Shipping
Hello,
Just an update its now 7/3 and I have yet to hear anything from MikesRC. If anyone was thinking of ordering a Screamin Demon I'd hold off for now. As it stands I'm out 85 dollars.

RE: Demon Shipping
I had the same problem when I ordered mine. They take 3-4 weeks to get once you order them. I think mike gets swamped with emails pprett bad but he is a standup guy and you will get your kit.

RE: Demon Shipping
Update,
On 7/9 I received thru Paypal a payment reversal of my 85 dollars. At no time did I hear anything From MikesRC. Mikes web site says we can expect "Fast and friendly service". I received neither.

RE: Demon Shipping
Too bad about the availability of the Demon. Have you considered scratch building one? They look pretty simple. I would probably try to find a set of plans somewhere and make my own kit. Perhaps Mike can provide you with some plans, or another modeler?
Just a thought, since you obviously want one andare having difficulty obtaining a kit.

Don't get upset if you haven't heard from him.
I thought that someone else had actually taken over production of the kits some time ago...

Mike had the kits made in small batches. It was not a full time hobby business, mostly a labor of love. It was also a way to fill a need in the "speed delta" market after the diamond dust and whiplash disappeared from the marketplace.
Until recently Mike has been a very active member of this forum, and 100% supportive of anyone who asked questions or needed help with his design. Searching back in here, you will see that to be accurate.
If you did not get a reply, it was simply because he has not been available to reply properly.
I also understood someone was going to licence the design from him and manufacture kits. But that was a while ago.

RE: Demon Shipping
Checking his profile he made 10 posts between 6/15 and 6/22 . His last login was 7/3. He could have dropped me a note instead of leaving me hanging.

RE: Demon Shipping
Actually Mikes last time on was 5/23/2011...
His last post was 4/28/10
With him being ill, the order info may never have been forwarded to the guy who sells the kits. I really can't tell you what the problem is, I am just guessing at this point.
Look up the original post of the demon design and you will see it probably is not who you think it is.

I don't know whom you are referencing with those dates. But it's not the guy who set up the website and designed the Demon
