I don't know if that measurement is the same, although I'd guess it may be and the crank is either cut for front intake or not.

Oh, Sorry. Let me get to that soon. Today and tomorrow will be long days with work and family obligations.

Now worries, just when you can. From the pics I've seen I have a feeling it is identical to the RI version.

If I understand the forum rules, posting of items for sale is prohibited. This is what the buy and sell section is for.

This is a special interest forum, and ducted fan engines are special interest items and of particular appeal. I've never seen anyone who is active in this forum complain about someone posting a couple of DF or racing engines for sale. Would you like us to stop?

Me neither. Its one thing to hang out on a general interest forum and make comments, but to tunnel down to a special interest group and then into page 3 of an established thread involving about 6 known regular participants, then introduce yourself by complaining.. what a great way to make new friends.

I agree with heavily limiting items for sale in the forums. I think light advertising from regular members is ok, especially when we are in a very refined special interest group like this. Have someone unknown pop in and advertise and I will complain myself.

Just my 2 cents

mention that in the classic pattern forums and you might get a buyer. I have too many to take on another one.

Mike, found my micrometer but just noticed you already have a RE version. Am I reading that correctly?

I have the rear intake versions, not front intake - that's what I should have said, they are all rear exhaust. So I am good on the crankcase and beam dimensions, they are the same. I just want to confirm the length of the nose - i.e. distance from some known point on the beams to the prop driver face. It is probably the same but so far I have not been able to confirm.

Mike, here you go. 2 inches from center of the front bolt to front of the prop hub.
