Lost a great plane today[sm=cry_smile.gif]....the Rossi made it but the Jettstream pipe did not[] I wish I could give glowing reports of the engine combo but thanks to a stinkin AR500 receiver my most faithful plane and a $70.00 muffler are up in smoke. DO NOT buy the 5 channel Spektrum AR500 this is the second one that I have had problems with. Lost all radio control on final and spun in at about fifty feet onto a road. NO the battery didn't poop out and all of the connections were still together as I always tape my connections. I have had no problems with the AR6200 6 channel or the 7 channel Spektrum receivers but with this being the second 5 channel with problems I am slightly ticked off and Spektrum is going to hear about it on Monday. Love my DX7...love 2.4 hate loosing planes to stuff that wasn't my fault.

The crashes make the successes that much better. Don't re-use anything that you aren't 100% sure of.

I have used the Rossi 45, the Rossi 53 and Jett's Q500 ... all I can say is the Rossi's are nice but the Jett is a screamer. For me the 45 is more fussy than the 53, the 53 is a very sweet engine. Purrs like a kitten when idling and screams like a Banshee when you prop her right.
