Default KnB 7.5 FI RE/prop choices????

Hey guys, Shrike is about ready to cover, need some prop suggestions. The motor is as mentioned, with tuned pipe. Whats the best choice for speed. Over the counter props, I am not into paying alot of money for not actually racing on the props. I plan to keep the nitro low as well. Just want a speed baller that I can go out and shred it up with.

Ray,

A 9x6 or 9x7 will put the engine in the best HP range (per Larry Wolfe). I've flown this engine with an 8x8 and an 8x9 as well.

I have a K&B RI RE motor that I used to run an APC 9x7 on. Spun way up (20,000rpm). Depending on the pipe length, prop and rpm will vary. Because it was basically a modified F1 motor with a DF pipe, this motor had no throttle. I used an in flight mixture to start it rich and then leaned it to run. It was a pressurized system and it was possible to kill the motor by going really rich.
