RE: Balsa USA enforcer
we also did seperat servo under the wing for everything. we should of put larger fuel line in the tank to the engine but the seperat servos work better than the cables i think.

RE: Balsa USA enforcer
HOW DID YOU HOOK UP 2 FOR THE ELEVATOR AND WHY WOULD THE LARGER FUEL LINE BE NEEDED. I'M STILL WORKING ON THE WINGS. I HATE THE SANDING PART. HAVEN'T CUT THE SLOT FOR THE HINDGES YET. THE FUSE IS SITTING FROM WHEN IF FIXED IT FROM BEING OUT OF WACK AND HAVE THE SHEETING ON IT. STILL HAVE TO FIX THE EDGES WHERE IT MEETS THE SIDES. I WORK ON THE WING EVERY NOW AND THEN......

RE: Balsa USA enforcer
ok i take the two for everything ccause the elevator only has one servo. we were thinking two for the pressure on one rod at the edge but decided agenst it. you could do it with a Y harnes to hook two servos to one channel on the reciever like you do for flaps or alerons. just need to use the correct side of the servo crank so everything goes the same way. the sanding of the leading edge was scary on the amount of wood needing removed to feather the leading edge.
the larger fuel line we need cause we can not ritchen up the carb enough to make it not run correctly.so it must be borderline for enough fuel.

RE: Balsa USA enforcer
I hear what you mean on the sanding. i'm going to just round the edje off and leave the ends flat a bit. some of the balsa is so paper thin, it's unreal. i added to the wing tips another 3/4 of an inch because of the sanding. looks much better than just the piece they say to use. by the time the tips are sanded you have only part of what you started with. as for the servo's, , i am going to put 2 servos in place of one? or am i going to run another rod to the other side which means i have 2 rods going to the elevator?...glad i have someone to talk to about it. don't reccomend the enforcer for a first build...

RE: Balsa USA enforcer
here is a picture of the enforcer matt and i made. it took two of us 3 weeks a couple of hours a night and a bunch on each weekend.
look at the white backers on the controle surfaces and you can see the rod going to the elevator just on one side for us.
here are some build shots

RE: Balsa USA enforcer
i think you are mistaken or i am not understanding you. there are only 3 servos back there. one for each surface. it works fine. the used enforcer had the servos up front with cables. that looked like a pain in the but plus they never felt solid like a wire link. it was eaiser for me to put then in the bottom of the wing. we made a 5 cell battery pack for the reciever from radioshack AA battery holders (one 4 cell and 1 single cell )and used that for balast way up front since there are two servoes missing.
also i agree on not haveing all the rear surfaces lined up perfect. we manual adjusted the elevator up some and the alerons down some to counteract and it flys nice. lands slow with all the wing area.

putting the servos in the wing does make it look much cleaner as an install. i may just set it up that way also. i have heard of people putting retract in the wings also..very nice plane. hope mine looks that good when done..

i my self did not like the cable idea. tieing the alerons to one cable with the pushpull in the middle at the servo looked too much of a pain.

RE: Balsa USA enforcer
got a good question for ya, the servo compartment where the instructions say the sheeting over laps, did you trim the sheeting flush with the inside of the compartment or does it really hang over? how do i get pics here so i can show the wing?

first you have to have the pictures on the web someware.or host them your self by a web server. i use facebook. then view the picture on the web and right click and hit properties. you have to copy the whole address the picture is at . then i start a new line and type this

RE: Balsa USA enforcer
we have a thundertiger .92 and it does about 95mph on a gps stuffed inside the body. the problem is that the pusher choices suck and this big lower rev engine needs a lot of pitch to get any speed.
