WHIPLASH OUT OF PRODUCTION!!
Sorry folks, we are very busy taking care of our military's needs, and unfortunately have been getting later and later on deliveries of the "whiplash" to our great customers.
ACM has always had a good customer service program and unfortunately have recently been causing that reputation a lot of harm. We only want to offer products, not excuses
So before we do irrepairable damage, we will stop production of the whiplash until further notice when we can better take care of our civilian customers needs too.
We thank all of you for your support and will announce when we are back in production.
In the meantime, we will still be here to support our customers in any way we can.
Thanks to all,
Rick "Bagostix" Broussard,
Rae Broussard, Production Manager
and the staff of ACM

Any scratch and dent whips left for the speed hungry?
(I still have one NIB hid in the bomb shelter, and waiting for paint)
This one pictured is from the scratch and dent sale...

RE: WHIPLASH OUT OF PRODUCTION!!
Thats too bad. I purchased a slightly damaged kit from some one on RCU for about $100
Unfortunately, it didn't survive the test fligh (100% pilot error).
Would have loved to get a few more flights on this plane.

Crazy4Flight,
Nice looking whip, and sharp color combo with the flames! How did you like the lustre coat? Did you use the gloss clear, and did you wet sand it to get that clean shiny finish? How is it holding up? I'm in the midst of painting mine (I suspect I got one of the last ones as it did take some time to recieve, but credit to ACM, it arrived and all my correspondance was promptly answered!) and want to create a nice clear gloss finish with minimal effort. smchale,
well up close it does not look that good, since it was a scratch and dent sale whip.
I had to fill some voids and sand some bubbles which created new voids.
plan on 2 or 3 spray sessions per can of paint after the third time nozzle tends to "spit"
cant remember if i used primer but it would be a good idea to do so
I painted top purple let dry 3 days
covered with light tack masking tape
drew flames with pencil cut out with knife carefulol peeling
light sand area to be painted then shot the yellow
use care when removing tape
there is a slight step where the yellow is layered on top of the purple, it flows up the tape edge ( more like surface tension ie: water in a glass )
did not use clearcoat
For My NIB Whip in grey I will get a pro to airbrush.
