Default which servo is most commonly used

hi which servo is most commonly used for a fast plane what sort of torque rating or speed is required my plane is a 1 meter thing [ul]
[img][/img] not finnished yet 40 inch wing span going to have a 37 with tuned pipe. should go fast. so my question again which servo is best.

For this size plane, standard servos are fine. In fact, if you've got dual aileron servos, you could probably get away with strong mini servos for that surface. If you want a bit more torque, and speed, go with a 5 cell receiver pack. Confirm that your receiver and the servos you choose servos can handle 6v.

On my planes, I use a strange system which has worked for me for years. I usually use standard servos on most of the plane except for the elevator for which I shell a few more bucks, but this is only on my expensive planes. Regular sport flying planes or similar, I would agree with Piper. I use mostly Hitec.
