Default Kangke F20

Finally got my F20 done and got 2 flights into the bird. This thing can vertical like a home sick angel with the Magnum 52 XLS. Final weight is 6 lbs. I get about 12K rpm on APC 10x8 not leaned out yet since it's a new motor. Anyone know how high I can safely rev up this little screamer??? I'm hesitant to let this thing scream with APC 9x8 prop. Don't know if this thing can handle going 14K or higher. By the way, the stock main gear is real easy to bend, even with normal landings. Anyone has quick fix idea??? I would prefer to add a brace if possible instead of spending time to make new landing wire.[:-]

New wire is easy.[sm=thumbup.gif] Get some music wire at the LHS, mark your bend with a pencil or marker hold it firmly in a vise and form the bend using moderate blows from a hammer. Do not try to make the bend too sharp a nice radius will give plenty of spring and give adaquate strength. Use your dremel to cut the wire. Also leave extra on the ends to trim. I had problems with the nose gear on mine being a little fragile, FYI.

I replaced the stock wire with stiffer music wire and had a friend machine out a steel brace with picture shown. Main gear now is pretty stiff. [:-]

Let it rev....14K is nothing for that engine....it will turn 15K safely.

FBD.
