Default Magnum Plane Problem

Code:
[img][ul][*] I have a Magnum plane with the original west eurotech 50 v1 engine, ¡¡ it`s a rocket, !! but I can`t stop the engine for landing, so every fly , new prop...
I think the problem is that the slot for the gide in the carburator is too long and even with thre carb full close it let some air go in .
Anyone have an idea how to solve it ? :([*] [*]

Any lean run may be detrimental to your engine !! And flying it out of fuel is very likely to cause a lean run ...

I agree with crazy for flight. I have 80 plus flights on my magnum, And I let it run out of fuel all the time to land. I checked my piston and cylinder for any scuffs or other concerns and it looked great. Now if you let a engine run lean for a extended period of time at full power I would say it might do alittle damage. None ringed engines are less likely to get damged due to a hard chrome cylinder and a soft aluminim piston running together. I have removed my rear crank case cover to check my rod to crank clearence and the engine always had oil present in the case.

RC-FIEND

the Magnums do not come with wheels

wheels create drag + Wheels add weight = A Slower Plane! [:@][&:][]

When I run My magnum out of fuel, I know its is about time for the fuel to run out so I gain altitude and throttle back and cruise for the last minute before haveing to land.[8D]

It should be landed dead stick. Instead of throttle control, wire it wide open and set it up with a pinch off. JETT has info at their website about how to rig a fuel pinch off.
