Default .15 DUST

A friend gave me his drawings for a .15 sized delta, and since I had a OS .15 CV not doing anything, this seemed like a good plane for it. It has 28 " of span and weighs 29 ozs RTF. It has a 600 MAH under the fins, GWS $14 servos, and a park flyer RX. I built the header, and the pipe is a MACS'. With a 7x5 MAS it hits 23,500 and with a 7x6 it does 21,000. I like either prop in flight. The vertical is very impressive, like a little missile, and the speed must be over 100 mph.

RUDEBOY, I think the engine to look into is the K&B .18, for a cheap, fun type speed model. If I read the specs correctly, it is a screamer for a low price. What I don't understand about OS is why they under rate this CV .15? It is obviously very happy to be run this way, it doesn't even get hot. With the muffler and a 8" prop, it is pretty much just a LA engine with ball bearings, but with a small prop and pipe, it's pretty good, but still a little bit over priced. If it lasts long enough being run like this, then you could say that it was a good deal. A WEBRA .50 isn't much more $ though........

BINARY, I'll have to check with the camera man to see if this plane is worthy, he is pretty picky.
