Radar Speed Checks
For the speed checks over 150 MPH we use
a safety barrier and aim the Stalker Radar gun
with optional camera over it. That way we can
get readings head on to the aircraft. If you can
fly your aircraft 30 feet high down the center
of the runway the readings will repeat very
closely. We use a FRS walkie talkie to get the info
back to the pilot after each pass.
This method has worked great for years...
