rossi53 in a cougar. good or bad? help!
i have a cougar and a rossi53 and i was wondering if this would be a good engine to put in my cougar for a speed type plane. its a rossi not a novarossi thought id clarify that. will this plane haul a## or will it be just ok. i had a supertiger 45 before with a pipe and it was pretty fast. will this engne really make it fast or will it be moderate? thanks for the help

IMO, it will be just o.k., but how o.k. depends on what you are looking for. I have one with a rossi 45 turning a 9x6 @ 16.8k and I estimate its in the 90-120mph range (big range because I really cannot judge how fast something is going, but this is what people tell me its doing).
It is a fun sport plane though. Easy to fly and I can land it anywhere (I touched down in a 4ft circle 10 times in a row).
